Yet another low fidelity puzzle platformer game. Anyone would think I have a thing for these, and perhaps I do. I love the being able to work out a puzzle and if I get the chance to combine that with some challenging platforming then, great!
In the Sun and Moon you play as a… well actually that’s never explained actually, not even on the official website. But what you play as isn’t really important, the bit you should pay attention to is the games main mechanic. In this game you can dive into the ground (or platform as it were) and when you do gravity is reversed, meaning that you can utilize the space underground to give yourself some quite high jumps.
The aim of the game is simple, collect three orbs and then escape the level through the
wormhole, that’s it. Of course, just because the goal is simple doesn’t mean its easy.

I really liked this game it had a lot of challenge but I never felt frustrated with it. This is in part due to the music and the somewhat retro colour palette I’m sure. But I think this is going to be one of those games I keep returning to from time to time.
