It was bound to happen eventually, the bullet heaven genre (games like Vampire Survivors) now has an ‘adult’ version. Rule 34 strikes again. Here’s the thing though, this game isn’t bad, it’s not as good as Vampire Survivors or Boneraiser Minions but it is better than it has any right to be.
The basic gameplay is the same as most of the games in this genre; kill enemies and collect the experience, level up and pick from some upgrade options, do it again. At the end of each level you have to pick a potion to drink from a selection of three. Each of these potions will give you a magic specialisation which increases your effectiveness with that kind of spell as well as unlocking a spell or two that will now appear in your upgrade choices. This potion will also change how your character looks depending on which potion you drank. If you drink enough of a single type of potion you will transform completely.
It’s with these potions that the ‘adult’ aspect of this game comes in. So what are these potions and what specialisations do they give? Well here you go; Big breasts equals explosions, small breasts is for projectiles, hips is area of effect, muscles is all about physical attacks, the corruption potion deals with curses and finally the beast potion makes you a furry (and gives you familiars).
You also can find flowers on each level which grant passive bonuses that often revolve around a specific specialisation, though there are some more generic bonuses that can be very useful.
That’s about it, you defeat the evil succubus at the end and get given an ending depending on what you transformed into. Though calling it an ending is very generous, it’s an upward panning shot of the witch in whatever form you completed the run in lying on a bed in such a way as to suggest you’re viewing her as her husband.
Like I said in the starting paragraph, this game is better than it has any right to be. However, that doesn’t mean I recommend it, play it if you really want to see some anime fanservice but somehow forgot that the internet is full of hentai.
