While you slept your raft crashed on an island, waking you up with a dose of cold sea water. Rude. The raft is totalled so with no real choices left to you you head on into the cave in front of you. You’re not worried about it though, there’s a sign outside saying that its the ‘Tutorial Cave’ and no one dies in the tutorial.

What can be said about Ittle Dew? It’s a puzzle game that apes games like the Legend of Zelda, all the while parodying them. Pretty much everything in this game is some form of puzzles or at least used in one.

The jokes come thick and fast but sadly the majority of the time the humour falls flat, that being said perhaps that may have more to do with my age and taste in comedy.

The gameplay is pretty solid for the most part, while in combat it can feel a little slow to respond, but thankfully combat is generally used as a way to solve a puzzle. Most of the puzzles are pretty simple, with exception of the “Professional routes” you find scattered (these are shortcuts but with puzzles that are much much more difficult.

I would recommend this game if it’s on sale for £4 or less, it’s just too short to pay more. I mean I completed the game after a mere two hours (admittedly I didn’t 100% the thing).

If this appeals to you perhaps try;
