Nope, not a review. I will review it when it comes out but that’s a good year away at the very least.
No, what this is is me wanting to show off something that I think is not only very cool but clever too.

PERCEPTION!
Perception is a narrative horror game featuring a blind woman. It’s from the makers of Bioshock, Bioshock Infinite and Dead Space.
Ordinarily I would not mention such a thing as there are many games on Kickstarter and the like that also deserve attention. But this one is different to me for a few reasons.
- As I mentioned it features you playing as a blind person, I don’t think any game has really done that.
- The fact that she is blind has been made into a major mechanic of the game.
- She’s alone. No helper, or side character leading the way. This shows shes a strong person and adds some depth to the character.
- playing a woman, yeah I know its not as big a deal as the ‘being blind’ thing but its still pretty damn rare.
I’m not going to tell you to back it, that’s not my call. What I do want you to do is just take a look if nothing else. Its things like this that make me feel like games (and no not just video games) really could be the greatest medium of entertainment.
