From the creator of Boneraiser Minions comes Voids Vigil. This is one of those games where I’m not sure what genre to put it under. I don’t play enough bullet hells to say for certain this isn’t one but it also uses a lot of the mechanics of a bullet heaven. The one thing I can be certain of is that this game is a roguelite, and yes I’m aware that Steam has it tagged as a roguelike but I disagree because the game Rogue didn’t have mechanics that you could unlock and upgrade that persisted between runs.
Anyway, that’s enough about what genre this game falls under, what’s more important is if the game is fun. Of course, that’s a subjective question but if you enjoyed Vampire Survivors or Boneraiser Minions then I think this game will be something you’ll like.

The action on screen can get pretty hectic and in fact actually managed to slow my machine down for a moment which is strange because most games don’t manage that. Plus the game is only slightly more expensive than a meal deal from Tesco and I played it for thirty one hours before I wrote this review (and will keep playing on my Steam Deck).
