As I said in the last review of a game in the Rusty Lake series “The hell did I just play?” I said that close to a year ago and my sentiment remains unchanged. I would say this game is a new level of weird for the Rusty Lake / Cube Escape series except it really isn’t, it’s exactly the same level of weird. From people turning into flies through to seeing events of the past through poo (yes that happens) this game is just friggin odd… and I love it.

Once again it’s another point and click game but I think that will always be the case. The only time these developers strayed from that genre was to create a short movie and even that was part Cube Escape series and was also part of the game.
As before a link to a video walkthrough has been included to allow those that just want the story (or those that are severely stuck) to be able to work their way through without being impeded by the increasingly complex brain teasers.

Honestly this is quite a hard series to speak about because all the puzzles are so strange, even for a point and click adventure. I suppose it fits in well with the extremely strange story that each game tells as well as the overarching narrative that seems to be appearing throughout the games. I’ll admit though that this narrative that they have appearing escapes me. I find it incredibly intriguing and I definitely want to know more but I’m damned if I can figure it out just yet.
