I believe I’ve mentioned it before but I have a certain fondness for point and click puzzle games, or just puzzle games in general. That is as long as they don’t delve too deeply into ‘moon logic’. That tends to ruin puzzle games and it’s sadly something they’ve become known for. In the case of the Bad Dream series moon logic is the go to, although in their case I don’t mind. This mostly is because of their theming, you see, so far every game in the series (of which there are now two) is set in a fever dream. That means that the logic of the real world just doesn’t apply. There is no reason that putting an antenna on a broken corded phone suddenly makes it work but in this game it does.

I’ll admit I enjoyed this one less than the previous game in the series, that’s not saying I didn’t enjoy it at all but it got a bit too… meta for me to take seriously. Still some nice examples of body horror and callbacks to the old game made an appearance. I look forward to seeing what the developers bring out next.
