Valentines Day is around the corner and so I thought why not review something to do with love… well love of a form. Also you’ve gotta’ love it when your friends buy you games as a joke, its all funny till someone gets hurt. Thing is, and I can’t believe I’m going to say this… this game is actually quite good. I know! I’m shocked too! But this pony hentai visual novel actually has a half decent story and more importantly well written characters, complete with flaws and trauma. Sure, every single one of them will end up having sex with you. But if you can get past that you’ll find highly engaging and well realised characters that, if you take the time to know them, you’ll start to empathise with.
Another thing I didn’t expect to get while playing this was several long conversations on subjects like; immortality, the heat death of the universe, the meaning of life and ethics.
I realise that this game isn’t and will never light the world on fire. But for what it is, it’s damned good. Also for those people who collect these games (because I know you exist) this might be worth grabbing simply because right now it seems to have avoided Hasbro’s notice but it’s only going to be a matter of time before they come for it.
