The House of Da Vinci

Y’know I keep playing these ‘escape room’ style puzzle games and yet I’ve not actually experienced an actual escape room myself… I feel I should fix that. Either way as puzzle games go this one is pretty good, I personally don’t think its good enough to pay £17.99 for it especially when the ‘The Room’ series is much cheaper and essentially gives you the same experience, in fact you can buy the first three games of the Room which would save you £5 and give you way more playtime. Thankfully, I bought this for less than £1.

The puzzles are pretty good, they definitely kept me off kilter for quite a while and they sometimes require you to think outside of the individual puzzle you’re working on to solve. If you do get stuck though there’s a hint system thats pretty good, it’ll start of by giving you a gentle nudge toward a specific puzzle you should focus on and if you keep needing its assistance the hints get more and more specific until it pretty much tells you what to do.
