Ok, so as a starter for ten I have to make sure this is known, I backed this on Kickstarter. Therefore, it’s entirely possible that my view will be affected. That being said I’ll do my best for that not to be the case. It should also be noted that this is an ADULT game as in sex is heavily involved.
I’ll be honest when I supported this game it was on a whim, I wanted to see what they could do because the kickstarter campaign promised quite a bit. Well, I have to say I think I got far more than I expected, though I had mentally set the bar quite low. I know that seems unfair but this is from a company that has only ever made adult animations and never made a game.
Putting it simply this game is… competent. You have twin stick shooter space combat, grid and turn based tactical combat and even some minor dating simulator elements (though that is the weakest aspect).
As I said the game is competent. The twin shooting is fun if a bit basic, though it does have an interesting twist. You see, as you play the game you collect waifu’s (yes, that’s the official term the game uses), each of these waifu’s can act as your co-pilot and they change how your ships alternate fire functions. For example Lily will cause the secondary fire to be a long range energy beam that pierces through the enemy, but if Killision is brought on board the secondary fire is a short range but very powerful blast like a shotgun.
It’s at this point I really can’t keep avoiding this subject, yes its a porn game. Yep, there are fully animated and interactive sex scene’s lots of them. In fact there’s even a mode where you can purchase (using a points system) extra scenes of each waifu for you to view.
At the end of the day all I can say is this, if you want a interactive game with lots of sex and crass humour as well as a surprising in depth plot (for a sex game) then you really could do a lot worse than this. However there is cheaper porn out there.
