This is yet another in the Survivor genre, there are hundreds of these and more are getting thrown up onto platforms like Steam every week. Now, usually I would say at this point ‘but there’s something different about this one’ sadly in this case I can’t say that. The only thing that Brotato does that is different is have a huge variety of weapons and abilities. These weapons don’t combine like in Vampire Survivors to create new more powerful weapons and abilities don’t evolve to become more potent like in Boneraiser Minions. You just have a lot of them.
I really wish I had more to say about the game, but in compared to those that came before it just feels a bit lacklustre. Now, at the time of writing there was a DLC that had been announced but not released yet. It’s possible this DLC will change enough to make the game stand out more among its peers, but that remains to be seen and I can only judge it on how it is now, in its vanilla state.

Brotato is literally just another to add to the pile. It’s not bad by any means but it doesn’t actually do anything new or different. Perhaps look into it if you find that you need a new Survivor game.
