For those of you who read my Dread X Collection 3 review (which I put up three weeks ago) I told you that I planned to buy this game. What can I say? I enjoyed what I played so much I felt compelled to get it. However, I’ll assume that you didn’t read that review and actually explain what this game is. Putting it simply, Spookware is a whole host of micro games that all have a horror theme to them. Think Warioware but all the silly games have some horror element to them like chasing Nosferatu away with garlic.
I have to say this game gave me exactly what I wanted, even more fun playing a multitude of micro games. What’s even better is that this isn’t just a collection of micro games but one with a story that runs through it. It’s a stupid story but that just adds to the charm for me.

This is where I have to put a downer on the review. Unfortunately this game is incomplete, there is still a lot to play here but the developers have stated that the game ran out of funding. They may return to it eventually but in all likelihood it will never be finished. However, as I have stated, there is a lot in what is already here and in my opinion it’s well worth the Rrp.
Truly I don’t have much else I can say, this is a wonderful lighthearted game that’s well worth a play even if it may forever remain incomplete. I hope the developers come back to it one day but I’m happy with what I got.
