Type:Rider is a exploration of how writing and typography has changed and evolved through the ages. It’s both a platformer and a educational vehicle.
You play as a colon and you roll, and jump through each level. I wish there was more to tell you but that’s it… You’re one of these : there isn’t much else I can tell you.

The game starts you off by dropping you into the level select area, which itself is a level. If you go to the left you get to the tutorial, named Origins, everything else is on the right.
While you play through you’ll pick up asterisk’s these unlock pages about the history of that particular piece of type for you to read through. Some of these are quite difficult to get and will require multiple tries.

As with every platformer you can die, there isn’t any life system so dying just means starting from the nearest checkpoint.
Discounting the level select area there are a total of nine levels and a secret level.

This game is extremely short, I would only recommend it to those of you who are really interested in typography or artistic games. I completed this with all the asterisk’s collected in about an hour.
Oh, I advise you skip the secret level, it’s unfair and annoying… But that’s the whole idea of it really.
