Not a review: Hello, Neighbor!

It seems like this sporadic ‘Not a Review’ piece is becoming a bit less sporadic these days, must be more games catching my attention.
Anyway, today the game in question we are looking at is ‘Hello, Neighbor!’

Being developed by Dynamic Pixels ‘Hello, Neighbor!’ is a first person thriller. You play as someone who’s just moved to a sleepy village only to find that something about your neighbor is… off. It’s your job, nay, your DUTY to investigate, of course your neighbor will take steps to stop that, including killing you.

What makes this game interesting enough to me that I feel it should be highlighted is the neighbors AI. From what is shown in the video below it seems that the neighbor will be able to learn and adapt its tactics to how you play, even going as far as to anticipate points of entry and retreat.
For someone like me this kind of gameplay is ideal, I’m very much the stealthy kind of person and I’m sure that I’ll get a lot enjoyment from trying to outsmart and evade the neighbor.

Currently it looks like the neighbors house will not be randomly generated, but that could change as its development continues, to be honest I’m not 100% sure that a randomly generated house would be a good thing, not unless it had some limitations applied.

Y’know’ from looking at those gifs ‘Hello, Neighbor!’ kind of reminds me of a game version of the movie Disturbia (with a less annoying lead actor).
