It’s been a while since I did one of these. It’s not that there haven’t been any games that have caught my attention, there have been plenty. But none of them have really stood out to me, until now.
From what the developers, Thunder Lotus Games have said and also shown Sundered is a 2D side-scrolling metroidvania. If that name seems familiar Thunder Lotus Games are the creators of the Norse themed boss rush game Jotun.
Just look at the artwork there. I shouldn’t be surprised considering how the last game looked any yet somehow I am. It’s gorgeous, I just want to frame it!
So, do you embrace the madness and gain its power? Or resist and become a powerful beacon of light. Both are viable and valid… and I can’t wait to get my darkside on. 😉
Here’s the ridiculous thing, the game is due out in July. This year. I’m speechless I really am. Usually these things are at least a year away before you even get a playable demo but these guys say this’ll be out within six months.
According to the Kickstarter this game is coming out on Steam, Gog.com, Humblebundle as well as the PS4.
