I do like a good puzzle game, especially one that lets me really wrap my head around some difficult challenges and I have to say that Please Don’t Touch Anything definitely succeeds in that goal. It may look simple at first but this quickly spirals into one hell of a rabbit hole.

As I just mentioned the design of this game looks simple, what with all the interactive options being a reset switch and a red button, but it becomes more
complex as you play. As far as I can tell (and find via research there are twenty four different endings, some of which are pretty hard to find.

I have two complaints with this game. The first being that some of the puzzles rely on a random chance for them to even appear let alone have you work out what you should do, I hate that. Everything else in this game is about working out what to do through your own wits, no random chance involved. It just feels at odds with the design of the game.

The second is more technical, for some reason every time you start the game it always appears in windowed mode. It’s an easy fix of course, just choose
fullscreen in the options but why can’t the game just remember that setting?

Honestly this game isn’t for everyone, I enjoyed it but I know plenty of people who would just find this game frustrating and confusing. Still I have to recommend it, its got a lot going for it and with a price tag that low it’s not exactly going to break the bank.
