This game is bad. Well I found it to be such. I understand that its trying to be like the old platformers of the past such as Shinobi and Battletoads, but that doesn’t make it good. In fact those old games were designed to be frustrating, because when they were originally released they were in arcade cabinets and they wanted the players to keep putting coin after coin in. But this game is on PC, I already bought the game and there isn’t anything more to get out of me monetarily (since this game has no microtransactions).
I already know what some of you are thinking, the game was too hard and he never completed it. Well, you’d be partially right, the game is too hard for no reason, but I did complete it. That’s why I’m so incensed by this game, I felt no real reward for all that challenge.
If all you want is a challenge then maybe pick this game up, but I’ll be happy to see the back of it. Oh, it should be mentioned that there is a hacking mini game that doesn’t work on 4K resolutions, if you want to actually do those you’ll need to drop the resolution, I ended up playing the game in 1080p because of it. It’s no big hardship as this games graphics really don’t take any sort of hit from the drop in resolution but it’s stupid that the game allows you to play in 4K only for a very vital part not to function.
