Agent A: A Puzzle in Disguise

Developer: Yak & Co
Rrp: £15.49 (Gog.com, Humblebundle and Steam)

Agent A is a puzzle game… a simple read of the title will tell you that, but what I want to tell you is that this game is one of the good ones. Its not overly long, but then puzzle games don’t tend to be as they rely on how mind bending the puzzles themselves are. In that regard this game holds up quite well, there were several moments where I just wandered around the various rooms trying to find a clue that I had missed only to realise the answer was right in front of me.

This is definitely a game that I would suggest playing with a pencil and paper nearby, there are quite a lot of tests of memory which for me is somewhat of a challenge. I also quite like the fact that the game includes puzzles that randomise the pattern or number sequence you need to input so that they aren’t the same between playthroughs.

If you’re into puzzle games at all then this is one that I can definitely recommend, and if you don’t fancy playing it on your PC its also available on both the Apple Store and on Google Play.
