I don’t know if its just me but doesn’t it seem like Dungeons and Dragons is everywhere right now? At least within the realm of all things nerdy D&D seems to be all over the place. Not that I’m complaining, I’m involved in 2 campaigns myself, its more an observation.
Knight of Pen and Paper +1 is an RPG where you play as the people at the table, choose who plays and the class and then away you go. The game pokes fun at the tropes that feature within the realms of RPG’s as well as referencing many other things (I never thought I’d see a reference to my beloved Stargate but it was there, hiding). Some of the references are very overt, to the point of even being pointed out but most are more subtle being hidden in the backgrounds of the realms you travel.

It was a fun little romp while it lasted but I can’t honestly say I’d be willing to go back for more. Mind you for £7.99 you can do much worse and the game lasts a decent amount of time.
