It’s not often that a point and click game is able to surprise me, but this one definitely managed it not only once but several times. It has all the trappings of a normal point and click however, it manages to do something a bit different in the execution. You regularly have to think laterally and interact with items that you wouldn’t even consider normally, a great example of this being the solution to one of the puzzles was within the pause screen.
Ostensibly this is a game that is about a game that doesn’t wish to be played and will actively try to stop you. Of course, things spiral out of control forcing you and the ‘Game’ to work together in order to succeed.

This game is great, the humour is on point and the whole thing doesn’t outstay its welcome, wrapping up in just about five hours. It even manages to make a little commentary on the nature of video games and monetisation, which I certainly wasn’t expecting.
