So many board games have been translated into digital versions of themselves, in some cases it’s been to great effect and in others.. not so much. Thankfully, this is one of the former and it even adds in a few features such as a daily challenge and a short campaign mode.

The basic concept in Sagrada is to create a stained glass window utilising a pool of drafted die and following the placement rules your window has set. For example, you cannot place two die of the same colour or number orthogonally from each other. You also can’t place a die in a space that is dedicated to a specific number or colour that doesn’t match.

Following those rules you’re attempting to score the highest amount of points by completing the task set by the three public objectives that all players are attempting to follow, and your own personal (and secret) objective.

This game is such a pleasure to play in its physical version and playing the digital one isn’t a far cry from that. In some ways it’s better as it will tote up the points for you at the end and enforce the rules so no mistakes can be made. You could do much worse for a digital board game.
